Two fancy cappuc cini:
Or a two hour international flight with Ryanair:
Yes, you’re right. Two fancy overpriced coffees would cost you the best part of €7 if you went for the large size.
The flight I’ve just booked with Ryanair cost me £5.99 plus debit card fees, say about €6.50 all in. I’ve got to come back mind, and that’s costing much more, a shocking €12.30. That brings the cost for the return trip to €18.80. Two of you in a coffee shop with fancy drinks and fancy cakes could pay that much.
The catch? Hand luggage only, up to 40 x 25 x 20 which doesn’t exactly leave much scope so I might have to splash out about €6.50 each way for a check in bag.

I don’t care how cheap it is , I will never ever fly with Ryanair again. So I’ll be having the cappuccinos please.

Well, having paid €42 for four flights I can forgive them a lot!
I’ve never actually had a problem with them. A couple of years ago the first of my two flights (one
to Stansted and one
onwards) was delayed by nearly four hours so they put me on a later flight to Stansted and gave me an alternative flight to my destination plus a €5 voucher for breakfast.

Where are you going? The other end of the runway? If I’m not mistaken t
hat’s a lot less than the toll for the Channel Tunnel or the Oresund Tunnel/Bridge.

You asked which is cheaper, not which is the least expensive. Different questions.

Stansted to Västerås, near Stockhom. Yes, it’s much less. It’s also much less than the bus from the airport to town.
My four flights cost me €42 all in subject to splashing out on checked in baggage
.

If you could get a flight for less than two coffees, would you argue the finer points of English
vocabulary?

Meant as a joke, as in, any flight that inexpensive is likely to also be cheap, while coffee costing the same amount may still be inexpensive but is likely to be a quality product. :)
